Three apparitions appeared to Macbeth. Each one having one thing in common. They were all trying to fool Macbeth into his downfall. Macbeth believed that he had the power and not one man could kill him. He believed that he could stay in his castle when the Birnam Woods started to move towards him and no harm would come to him. The second apparition told him "The power of man, for none of woman born Shall harm Macbeth." His belief in this apparition brought his downfall and he was killed by Macduff. Macduff not born from a woman but he said was "Tell thee, Macduff was from his mother’s womb Untimely ripped." Macduff used this and killed Macbeth in an instant. The manipulations of the three apparitions killed Macbeth and in the end put him in his downfall.
The apparitions are all becoming reality. The third apparition of a child holding a tree wearing a crown told Macbeth that "...Macbeth shall never vanquished be until Great Birnam Wood to high Dunsinane Hill Shall come against him." (4.1.92-94.) Macbeth never thought he would see the day when Great Birnam Woods would come against him at his home. He felt powerful knowing that the third apparition told him that nothing can stop him. Never actually thought that the forest would just start walking to the front door but the apparition played a trick on him. The men of Macduff wore the Birnam wood which tricked Macbeth and Macbeth got played for a fool.
Three Apparitions appeared to Macbeth recently. The Apparitions were of a armored head, bloody child, and a child wearing a crown holding a tree. Each one had something different to tell Macbeth. The first apparition said "Macbeth! Macbeth! Macbeth! Beware Macduff. Beware the thane of Fife. Dismiss me. Enough." The second apparition said "Be bloody, bold, and resolute. Laugh to scorn The power of man, for none of woman born Shall harm Macbeth." The last apparition said "Macbeth shall never vanquished be until Great Birnam Wood to high Dunsinane Hill Shall come against him." These three apparitions gave Macbeth hope. power, and the idea that not one person could hurt them.
Just overheard Lady Macbeth putting down Macbeth into the dirt and calling him a coward! Saying that "screw your courage to the sticking-place.." She was stating he is just a coward and won't do her dirty deeds. Lady Macbeth would have killed Duncan but she couldn't because Duncan had a very close resemblance to her father.
Lady Macbeth since the beginning wanted power. She was power driven and would do anything to get it. She even manipulated her husband to kill his best friend for the crown. Macbeth was also power driven but he would have not killed Duncan if it wasn't because of Lady Macbeth's manipulation towards calling him a coward and less of a man. She said. "When you durst do it, then you were a man;And to be more than what you were, you would Be so much more the man. Nor time nor place." When she said this she was saying that to become a man he had to kill Duncan/ Manipulating him and breaking him apart, brought the end to Macbeth.
Witches are manipulating Macbeth and trying to persuade him into doing all of his wrong deeds, that he did not want to do. Saying "All Hail Macbeth..." trying to make him feel unstoppable. I believe this will turn against him and hurt him in the end.
Macbeth trusted the witches and had confidence in them. The witches brought out the bad in Macbeth by showing him greed and power. The witches said "All hail, Macbeth, the future king!" Saying this brought out the curiosity in Macbeth and the will to want more power. The witches were the first ones to manipulate him and show him the path that would lead him to death.
